Monday I went to Bogarts in Cincy with Rich and Dave to see KMFDM!!! All I can say is "Call 1-800-Accept No Imitations, KMFDM, one world, one nation!" Holy fucking shit!!! It was a great concert, they, being Sascha Konietzko, Lucia Cifarelli, Raymond "Pig" Watts, Bill Rieflin and a few members of PIG rocked that place hard. Played some old stuff, as well as some off of their newest album, ATTAK. Sascha said it right when he said, "KMFDM will never stop!" We missed Kidney Thieves who opened at 7:50. Tickets said 8pm!!! And they only played a 20-30 min. set too. Oh well we did see 16 Volt and after they played an extremly loud, but good set KMFDM w/Pig took the stage and were un-fucking-believable!!! Sascha with his tall bleached mohawk and his dark sunglasses. He had kind of a 'kick your ass biker/punk rawk' look going on with a set of heavy gloves like gauntlets and a black shirt. Lucia, of course looked hot as hell. Watts, was in rare form, HA! He came out looking like Bono in his sides bent up cowboy hat and long coat. But of course with him he took off the shirt later in the show and unbuckled his leather pants and felt it was time to well, lets say, 'let the sunshine in'. All and all the show was a great display of what holds KMFDM together and keeps them around. Be sure to check them out if the come to an area near you. Sturm und Drang Tour 2002.
