I'm back from Illinois! While I was in Illinois I saw the movie The Ring, went to a 'Birthdoween' party (a birthday/halloween combo party) where I dressed up as a Scottish Pimp and wore a Kilt and carried a stuffed sheep around for my "stable", watched many DVD's and saw They Might Be Giants at Otto's in DeKalb. A very full few days. I found out that The Ring is based on a Japanese book and movie called The Ringu. The site for The Ringu is very interesting and has some insight on the story. With They Might Be Giants was a group called the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. They played a funny as hell show, and of course TMBG were Great!!! And that's how I see it for now.

Happy Birthday to my brother, ChaoSpirals, or Matt. He's old man, he's so old he saw the first three Star Wars movies when they were new!! 31 today. But I guess that's not "old" that's Experienced. So to you, my lad, I raise a Guinness and toast to your health, wealth, and happiness. Happy Birthday my brother.

My how time flies. Here it is Friday, October 18th and they year is coming to a close. Nothing to update on, which is why I haven't posted in awhile. A few things have happened since my last trip to Illinois. I was offered a position in the Manager Training program for Nebraska Book Company, my present employer. It was a pretty sweet deal but I decided that I really do need to get back into school and get away from here. So that said, as of sometime around the first of the year I will be a resident of DeKalb, Illinois. Yep, I'm moving, leaving, getting the fuck out of Dodge as it were. Time to move on and see things in a new light. However, just because I'm leaving home to persue a new and exciting life does not mean that I will forget everyone here at 'home'. I will miss a lot of the people I have made strong bonds with and even some that I only see in passing. I'm going up for another visit next friday for a party, yeah I know driving around 6 hours just for a party, but hey, it's all for fun! I am going to do my best to post more often even if it's only a few words. So, goodbye, until another post...
