Though I have slacked off in adding content to this blog I have decided to take on a new endeavor. I call it "It came from the SPAM-bag" and will chronical interesting SPAM that I receive with commentary. It may not interest you or it may that's ultimately up to you. So if you feel like checking it out you can find it here.
So I've recently changed my English setting on my Facebook to reflect the Pirate language. I've also adopted a Pirate's view on, well as it seems, everything.
My pirate name is:
Mad Sam Rackham
Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!
And yet another site has apparently deemed me: Evil Jim Rackham (I'm assuming Sam's brother) Landlubbers quake in fear when you draw near, mainly because you'll keelhaul anyone, anytime, anyplace, just for the fun of it. If there aren't any keels to be hauled then you'll whip out your cutlass and hack off a few arms just to keep in practice. Heck, it's better than working at the shoe store.
Yarr, if'n any of this be interestin' t' ye, head over t' Talk Like a Pirate Day's magic box and find out more fer ye'self. If it not be please'n ya, then walk the plank ye scurvy dog, ye dirty bilge rat, ye stinkin' landlubber!!!
No on Prop 8 Apple is publicly opposing Proposition 8 and making a donation of $100,000 to the No on 8 campaign. Apple was among the first California companies to offer equal rights and benefits to our employees’ same-sex partners, and we strongly believe that a person’s fundamental rights — including the right to marry — should not be affected by their sexual orientation. Apple views this as a civil rights issue, rather than just a political issue, and is therefore speaking out publicly against Proposition 8.
Way to go Steveo! I'm happy to support your company!
